Portland Baroque Orchestra is the nation’s fourth largest professional period instrument orchestra and known for its vibrant intimate performances of the greatest music of the 18th century with international guest artists performing alongside Portland musicians.
The Portland Chamber Orchestra is a 38-member ensemble led by world-renown New York conductor Yaacov Bergman, now in his fifth season as music director. The orchestra, founded in 1947 by Finnish composer and conductor Boris Sirpo, has deep-rooted commitment to performances of innovative repertoire, ranging from the baroque through the twenty-first century.
